Community Engagement
Members are encouraged to participate in community service and philanthropy opportunities presented by our chapter. PIKE believes that a commitment to service is a crucial part of personal development. At the Gamma Upsilon chapter we support several different organizations throughout the year. This past year we logged over 2000 hours serving our community! Click on a link below to learn more about a cause we support:
American Cancer Society Oklahoma
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma
Sand Springs Fire Department
Asbury Church
Tulsa Boys Home
True Blue Pantry
Over this past year we have helped organize, set-up, and execute several different events with these organizations. Standalone events include the Tulsa Country Club "Old Bags Luncheon" and "Cycle for Life" to raise money for Crosstown Learning Center and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation respectively, Big Brothers Big Sisters Halloween party at the PIKE house, an Easter egg hunt at Kendall Whittier Elementary with the ladies of Kappa Alpha Theta, an Up with Trees revitalization project, and several more!

PIKE Philanthropy Week
This year, we worked in part with the American Cancer society to raise money for cancer research, patient support and greater awareness about cancer prevention. Our philanthropy was chosen in to help do our part in bringing an end to the world's battle with cancer in honor of brother Tanner Huddleston who recently defeated acute myeloid leukemia!

Our "PikeFest" Philanthropy Week runs from the 25th to the 29th of March where we raise money for American Cancer Society by selling raffle tickets, holding a catered dinner, hosting several competitions in a Fireman Challenge, and cap off the week with the crowd favorite Pie-a-PIKE event. Through our philanthropy week efforts and other events supporting ACS, we were able to raise over $6,000 during the 2021-2022 school year!
